Gingerbread displays a sweet Christmas treat

Free holiday exhibit at the Gertrude Ford Center at Ole Miss makes features eight edible gingerbread — or chocolate — homes or villages. There’s no cost to see the exhibit but organizers ask visitors to bring canned food to be given to The Pantry. Santa will be available for photos from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday. (December 9, 2011, Page 1A)

    Ford Center officials hope to make display annual event

    Four gingerbread houses have been on display at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts since Dec. 1 for the center’s first Gingerbread House Village that ran in conjunction with the holiday performance of Synergy Brass Quintet’s “Gingerbread and Brass” program that ran on Dec. 4. (December 17, 2010, Page 1B)
