Oxford Blues Festival reloads this weekend

OXFORD TOWN – The 2012 version of the Oxford Blues Festival reloads this weekend all around Oxford and the Oxford Square. The event kicks off at the University Museum on Friday at 4 and ends at Foxfire Ranch in Marshall County on Sunday featuring some of the hottest blues acts and musicians in the country.     Gina Sexton, Shannon McNally; Busy girls around town

    OXFORD TOWN – Two local favorites, Gina Sexton of Maybelle’s Lovers (pictured here) and Shannon McNally (with her band, Hot Sauce) are set for shows this Friday —  with more scheduled in the near future — all around the L-O-U community and region.       Foxfire Ranch – a model of hospitality

      OXFORD TOWN – Foxfire Ranch specializes in two major things — blues music and hospitality. Indeed, for Annie, Bill and Holly Hollowell, hospitality is their specialty as the working Marshall County ranch offers blues music every Sunday from 5-10 p.m., in a truly unique facility.         2nd Annual Oxford Blues Festival launches Friday, July 21

        OXFORD TOWN – The blues will heat up Oxford this weekend, featuring 25 acts from four states as the 2nd Annual Oxford Blues Festival launches at venues all over town beginning Friday, July 22. Performers for the festival include Eddie C. Campbell (pictured here), Effie Burt, Matt Gaylord of The AM Band, Jay Lang & The Devil’s Due and Andrew Hancock of The Hancock Co.           The Sixth Annual Hill Country Picnic cranks up this weekend at Foxfire Ranch

          OXFORD TOWN –  The wildly popular Hill Country Picnic returns, featuring a venue change and tons of great local and regional talent set to rock the weekend away.             Hill Country Harmonica reloads at Foxfire Ranch

            OXFORD TOWN – Hill Country Harmonica — A Northern Mississippi Blues-Harp Homecoming is rapidly becoming one of the largest harmonica-based blues events in the country by featuring multiple workshops, open jams and concerts in a festival-like atmosphere.               Hill Country Harmonica set for Foxfire Ranch

              OXFORD TOWN – Hill Country Harmonica is taking over Foxfire Ranch in Waterford just outside of Oxford next weekend, playing host to a two day intensive retreat for blues harmonica enthisiasts of all levels.
