Flaming Lips, Grace Potter pack the Lyric Wednesday night

OXFORD TOWN – As you read this, that is if you are reading it on Thursday, June 28, the Guinness World Record is not yet broken as the Flaming Lips’ attempt continues until this evening. But, by Friday, the Lips will have the record for the most live concerts in a 24 hour period and the Lyric Theater was definitely rockin’ the Lips on Wednesday night. Grace Potter (pictured here) and The Nocturnals opened the show for the Flaming Lips with an awesome 90 minute set.     City approves one day parking exception

      Grace Potter, Flaming Lips set for record breaking show at the Lyric Theater

      OXFORD TOWN – The Flaming Lips will rock Oxford during their Highway 61 tour as part of the Guiness World Records title for the most live concerts in 24 hours. Grace Potter (pictured) & The Nocturnals will open the show at the Lyric Theater on June 27.
