Taking a fresh look at Faulkner

The 39th annual Faulkner & Yoknapatawpha Conference begins Saturday. This year’s conference features more speakers and panels than ever before primarily because this year marks the 50th anniversary of Faulkner’s death.     Community to celebrate Faulkner’s life, work

    FULL STORY — Several events are being planned to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Nobel Prize-winning author William Faulkner. A free screening of “The Reivers,” lectures and other activities will take place on July 6.
