Team Snyder slugs way to Game 1 win
The Chicago Cubs have been making headlines recently for their hiring of former Boston Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein, the architect of Boston’s two World Series championship teams.

The fall ball season offers the Ole Miss head baseball coach the opportunity to begin molding the team without the pressure of facing opponents.
In addition to getting a fresh start after a disappointing season in the spring, the Rebels welcome a plethora of new players — nine of which were drafted but opted to come to Oxford — into the fold. (September 16, 2011, Page 6A)
Bianco doesn’t expect to see Golson, Brown until January
Dual sport standouts Senquez Golson and Chief Brown took swings in the batting cage on Monday.
