OXFORD LIVING — Several artists with the Oxford Maker’s Market have been displaying items made from recycled, discarded and found materials during the Green Week festivities at the University of Mississippi campus this week.
The artwork will be on display this afternoon in front of Skipwith Cottage on the Square and again on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.. inside The Lyric during the “Upper Decker Festival” — not to be confused with the Double Decker Festival that has had most of its events moved to Sunday due to expected severe weather on Saturday. Due to the threat of severe weather from morning to mid-day Saturday, the Double Decker Arts Festival’s music lineup is being split into two days, with most local acts appearing Sunday afternoon. All bands will be performing on the North Stage.

SPECIAL EDITION — It’s that time again! Get the scoop on all the events planned for this weekend’s 15th Annual Double Decker Arts Festival in this week’s edition of Oxford Town. Headliner Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings are still slated to perform Saturday night. Between now and then, we’ll keep you updated on any changes to festival plans due to the threat of bad weather.
RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER (click for updates) — The 15th Annual Double Decker Arts Festival is set for Saturday on the Oxford Square. Featuring the works of more than 100 artists selected by the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council; a host of food vendors including local restaurants and organizations; a children’s Square Fair; and a full day’s music lineup on two stages, headlined by Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.

The Oxford Convention and Visitors Bureau has released its full music lineup for the 15th annual Double Decker Arts Festival on April 24. Along with headliners Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, music acts will include: the Felice Brothers, Jimbo Mathus, Mayhem String Band, Those Darlin’s, Young Buffalo, Captain Midnight, Group Fantasma, Cornmeal, Wiley and the Checkmates, My Name is John Michael, A.A.
