Coaching carousel really starting to turn
Saturday’s end to the regular season in college football produced several coaching moves on Sunday. As Ole Miss’ search committee, led by Archie Manning, moved forward with the vetting process, several head coaching jobs in college football opened up that may impact the Rebels’ candidate list. Younger, offensive-minded coaches that call unconventional plays have become popular among universities and search committees looking for a new person to lead their football programs.

Leach, Feldman give thoughts on OM search
A week after announcing Houston Nutt would not be back to coach the Ole Miss Rebels in 2012, the search to find Nutt’s replacement continues to take shape.
One of the biggest coaching names that has been associated with the search in some fashion is former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach, who has emerged as one of the fan favorites. Leach, who went 2-1 against the Rebels during his time at Texas Tech, has been out of coaching since the end of the 2009 season. He is currently living in Key West, Fla., and co-hosting a daily radio show, “College Football Playbook” with Jack Arute. (more…) (November 15, 2011, Page 6)

Godwin officially introduced by Rebels
After about a week’s worth of well-sourced rumors made the rounds on the Internet over the course of the past week, Ole Miss officially announced the hire of Cliff Godwin as the baseball program’s next hitting coach on Tuesday evening.
Godwin joins the Rebel coaching staff from Central Florida, where he was the Knights’ associate head coach, hitting coach and recruiting coordinator. (more…) (June 22, 2011, Page 6)
Bianco candid about coaching search
To say it’s been a busy couple of days for the Ole Miss skipper Mike Bianco would be quite the understatement.

Search for a new baseball coach at Oxford ongoing
The search for Bradley Roberson’s replacement as Oxford High baseball coach accelerated over the last few days. The job was officially posted on the school’s website, Oxford.k12.ms.us, on Thursday while a survey is available for the public to fill out on what characteristics and qualities they think the new OHS baseball coach should possess.
