The race awaits for a good cause
Diabetes is a disease that affects so many of our children, and local columnist Deidra Jackson writes about a way to help some of those youngsters – by participating in the fundraising run for Hope Half Marathon and 5K that’s coming up Feb. 26 in Oxford. Run to fund camps
On Saturday, a half-marathon and 5K run, Run4Hope, will be held in Oxford to benefit Camp Hopewell’s diabetes camp. More than 600 runners have already signed up for the race and organizers another 100 to join as walk-ins on Saturday. (February 26, 2010, Page 1A)
