Oxford accepts safety challenge

Oxford Mayor Pat Patterson, supported by the Board of Aldermen, accepted a national challenge to take significant action to improve safety for bicycle riders and pedestrians of all ages and abilities over the next year.

    Bike safety film takes top prize

    Greg Earnest took home the top prize of $500 for his 2-minute film on sharing the road during the first OxFilm Challenge Tuesday night. The People’s Choice award went to Oxford’s youngest filmmakers, 10-year-olds Josephine Gladden and Adele Johnson. (July 31, 2013, Page 1, 10)
