            South Lamar work nears end

            Work on South Lamar is hopefully nearing an end with paving expected to start in the next two weeks and be completed by the end of August. The Pathways Phase 2 bike path project began in June to put 11 miles of bike baths and on Oxford’s roads. However, D. Carroll Construction has hit some snags a long the way. (July 26, 2012, Page 1, 2)

              Bike lanes ‘chugging along’

              Construction of bike lanes on South Lamar took ran into some delays but is now back on track, according to city officials. Several of the roads getting part of the 11 miles of bike lanes are now under construction.                   Bike lane project hits roadblock
