OSD has few first-day hiccups

The Oxford School District had a few kinks on the first day of classes Monday. They are working to smooth the transition to all the changes they implemented in the new school year. (August 20, 2014, Page 8A)

            Welcoming the arrival of a new year

              Tax-free weekend underway

              Parents and college students shopping for back-to-school clothing will get a small break today and Saturday during Mississippi’s tax-free holiday which began at midnight  and ends Saturday night. (July 30, 2010, Page 1A)
