OK, it’s time for a mid-summer pop quiz

Since it’s halfway between the end of one school year and the beginning of another, perhaps it’s just the right time for a mid-summer pop quiz – on the holiday we’re celebrating Monday. Job training helps young adults

The Arbor Education and Training Youth Services program helps 17- to 21-year-olds by providing a two-week intensive training for job search skills and academic remediation. When the training ends, the youth is placed in a 90-hour internship, paid through the program. A new group will begin on Wednesday in Water Valley at the Lawrence Turner Community Center.
For more information, contact Cotton at 234-3231 or by e-mail at noriecotton@arboret.com. More information on the program is also available at www.arboret.com.
