Leaving animals has deadly consequences

The Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society wants to remind people that the former animal shelter off of Highway 7 South is no longer a drop off zone for unwanted animals. After six puppies died after being left there sometime last week, the shelter is asking people to please bring them to the current site or call Animal Control at 234-9974 if unable. (July 12, 2011, Page 3)
