    Dog’s treatment deserves special ‘treat’

    Assistant News Editor Jeff Eubanks writes about how pets – dogs and cats – have grown on him through the years, and how that makes him even more upset at the treatment of Sunny, a dog recently turned into the local animal shelter.       Oxford police, animal shelter working to find cat killer

          Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigating two dog killings

          Lafayette County Crimestoppers is offering two $500 rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for killing two dogs in the last week in separate incidents. One dog was shot and one was found on fire inside of a box on the road. (January 9, 2012, Page 2)
