City eyes new OCC head

The Oxford Board of Aldermen voted Tuesday to accept proposals from management companies to take over operations of the Oxford Conference Center, however no decision on the center’s future has been decided. Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the board voted to approve an Adult Entertainment Overlay District, restricting such businesses to two areas inside the city limits, prohibiting alcohol sales and other restrictions. (January 8, 2014, Page 1, 12)
