OSD adopts sex ed policy
The Oxford School Board turned around on an earlier vote to make the middle school have an abstinence plus education program along with the high school. Both policies also now have language requiring the curriculum to be chosen from a list approved by both the state and federal health departments. Over 300 parents signed a petition and over 45 attended Monday’s board meeting to show their support for plus education. (June 26, 2012, Page 1, 12)
