Oxford’s Adamson headed to Southern Miss

BLOG — Whirlwind is about the only word that begins to describe the last week for Oxford High quarterback Parker Adamson.

Eight days ago, it appeared that the 2012 Oxford EAGLE Player of the Year would be a preferred walk-on at Ole Miss. That was before he met recently hired Southern Miss coach Todd Monken, who offered the 6-foot-5 signal caller a scholarship today. (more…) (February 5, 2013)

        Hooks still undecided; Rebels sign three players Wednesday

        The first day junior college football players could sign with a four-year school came and went without a commitment and signature from Northeast Mississippi Community College defensive tackle Lavon Hooks.
