World War II veteran and Azalea Gardens resident Hugh Newton took to the skies Tuesday in a 1943 Boeing Stearman, owned by Bill and Darryl Fisher of Salem, Ore. who are touring the country and giving free rides to veterans. (March 30, 2011, Page 1)
