PSC to hear cases Tuesday in Oxford

The Public Service Commission will hear four cases involving water and sewer services at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lafayette County Chancery Building involving a request to leave Delta Rain water and be serviced by Oxford for a developers in Wellsgate and two cases for Lakes of Oxford utility to operate a sewage disposal system. (December 16, 2013, Page 5)

Victim fights back: Man charged with brazen day-time burglary

A Wellsgate woman tells her story of finding a burglar in her garage and her brave attempt at thwarting his plan.

The alleged burglar, Michael Lynn Adams, 40, of Oxford, was later found by Lafayette County Sheriff’s deputies and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he is being held with no bond. (August 10, 2010, Page 1)

Neighborhood unites to save duck
