  • Billy “Bill” Gene Edwards — 69, died Monday, July 18, 2011, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial will follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
  • Dr. Howard M. Lenhoff — 82, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at his home in Oxford. Services and burial were in the town of his birth, North Adams, Mass. For his friends in Oxford, a memorial service will be conducted early this fall by Dr. Don Kartaganer.
  • Jackie Fay McCord — 76, died Monday, July 18, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Waller Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford. Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 this evening at the funeral home.

  • Hulet Wesley “Sonny” Still — 78, died Monday, July 11, 2011, in his home in Sardis. Services were held this morning at Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville. Burial with military honors followed at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville.

  • Joe E. Cappleman — 54, died Wednesday at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home.
  • Tiger E. Crawley — 87, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at the State Veterans Home in Oxford. Services with military honors were held this morning at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church-Batesville. Burial followed at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville was in charge of arrangements.
  • Hayes Lynch Jr. — 77, died Saturday at Community Hospice in Verona. Services will be held at noon Saturday at Springfield MB Church in Abbeville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at J.F. Brittenum & Son Funeral Home in Holly Springs and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
  • Inez Parks — 100, died Thursday at The Windsor Place in Columbus. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home.
  • Bryan Dennis Rikard — 42, died Monday, April 18, 2011, in Oxford. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the College Hill Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
  • Johnnie McCain White — 81, died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Graceland Care Center in Oxford. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cambridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 this evening at the funeral home.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care P.A. in Annapolis. A memorial gathering will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to services.  A memorial service and burial will be held in Oxford at a future date.
  • George Edwin Denley — 95, died Thursday, March 17, 2011. Services were held Sunday at the First Baptist Church Coffeeville with the Rev. Truman Scarborough and the Rev. Donnie Stewart officiating. Burial followed in the Coffeeville Cemetery. Garner-Harper Funeral Home of Coffeeville was in charge of arrangements.
  • Guinn Leroy “G. L.” Tatum — died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at his residence. Services were held Sunday at the Union West Baptist Church, with Bro. Billy Childs officiating. Burial followed in Orwood Cemetery. Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley was in charge of arrangements.
  • Dorothy Ann Tidwell — 68, died Friday, March 18, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 2 this afternoon in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. David Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
  • Janie Lee McCullar Toole — 97, died Friday, March 18, 2011, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center. Services were held Sunday at the Oakland Methodist Church, with the Rev. Clay Baker and the Rev. Martin Case officiating. Burial followed at Enid Oak Hill Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville was in charge of arrangements.
  • Tracie Lynn Edwards Webb — 50, died Saturday March 19, 2011, at Graceland Nursing Home in Oxford. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville.
