Bake Sale Fundraiser

A bake sale fundraiser for the Northwest Side Civic Club (Harmontown Community Center) will be held Saturday Sept. 4, starting at 9 a.m. at the Walmart in Oxford. (August 16, 2010)

‘Stuff the Bus’

The members of the Junior Auxiliary will host a “Stuff the Bus” project at Walmart on West Jackson Avenue. Junior Auxiliary members will be collecting school supplies donated by members of the community. Collection points will be at the front doors of Walmart on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The project will help many children in the Lafayette County and Oxford school districts who are not able to afford their own school supplies.
