  • Robert “Bobby” M. Alexander — 80, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joe Lovelady officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home and again one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
  • Mackey Webb Sallis — died on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, in Mobile, Ala. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Cambridge United Methodist Church outside Oxford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

  • John Eugene Lewis — 79, died Sunday, June 20, 2010. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Martin Case officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery Oxford. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the serivce at the funeral home.
  • James Lawrence Hudson — 85, died Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Waller Funeral Home, with the Rev. James West and the Rev. Hal Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
  • John Eugene Lewis — 79, died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Memphis VA Medical Center in Memphis. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home, with Bro. Robert Frierson officiating. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

  • Harry Smith Calder — 53, died Saturday, June 12, 2010. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. at New Providence Cemetery located at New Providence Baptist Church outside Vardaman. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

  • Marie Beatrice Nabors Bratton — 90, died Monday at Hermitage Gardens in Oxford. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home.
  • Nancy Marzette — 89, of Etta died this morning at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. Arrangements are incomplete with Serenity-Martin Funeral Home of Oxford.
  • Vivian Lee Bennett Zinn — 87, died Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Azalea Gardens in Oxford. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce, with the Rev. Aubrey Boren officiating. Burial will follow in the Bruce Cemetery. Visitation will held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

  • Beatrice Baker Faust — 97, of Florence, Ala., died Tuesday, June 1, 2010. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 this afternoon at North Oxford Baptist  Church Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation was held earlier today at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia, Ala.
  • Robin Dean Williams — 48, died Monday, May 31, 2010. Services will be held at 2 this afternoon at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home’s Oxford Chapel, with Gary Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be held today until the service at the funeral home.
