  • Kenneth R. Flemons — 75, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Graceland Care Center in Oxford. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service from noon until 1 at the funeral home.
  • Faye “Mama Faye” Russell — 109, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford. Burial will follow in the Toccopola Cemetery in Toccopola. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
  • Catherine Hunt Ward — 71, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.   • Dr. Raymond McRay Pruitt — 88, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at his home in Oxford. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 this evening at the funeral home.
  • Johnnie Faye Russell — 109, of Sardis died Wednesday at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Arrangements are incomplete with Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford.
  • William T. “Bill” Trusty — 99, of Water Valley died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at the Yalobusha General Hospital. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. National Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
