Adron Joseph “A.J.” Dillard — 83, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at his residence. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the United Funeral Service Chapel in New Albany. - Olin S. Holcomb Jr. — 87, died this morning at his home in Oxford. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home.
- Gaither Knight Pollard — 91, died Saturday, July 24, 2010. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Waller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow with a military service at St. Peter’s Cemetery. The visitation will be held for two hours prior the service at the funeral home.
- Betty Claire Starkey Smith — 78, died Saturday, July 24, 2010. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Philadelphia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 this evening at the United Funeral Service in New Albany, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

- Jerry Lee Bobbitt Sr. — 67, died Sunday, April 4, 2010. Services were held this morning at Memphis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 3 this afternoon at Browning Cemetery in Taylor.
- Clifton “Big Mook” Hilliard — 66, died Saturday, April 3, 2010. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Philadelphia M.B. Church in Oxford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home.
- David Randall Leslie — 44, died Friday, April 2, 2010. Services were held Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar with burial following in Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Hickory Valley.
- Edwin “Edd” Ayers Spencer — died Monday, April 5, 2010. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Glenfield Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at the United Funeral Service funeral home and 10 a.m. until service Thursday at the church.

- La’Derrion Tremaine Davis — 2 months, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Serenity-Martin Chapel in Oxford. Burial will follow in the Flint Hill Cemetery. Serenity-Martin Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
- Beatrice Havens — 90, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010. Services were held earlier today at the Southaven Church of Christ in Southaven. Burial followed in the Bethel Cemetery in Enid. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford was in charge of arrangements.
- Dr. Frank LaRoy Leggett — 83, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at College Hill Presbyterian Church in Oxford. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A memorial service will be held March 6 at 2 p.m. at Bassfield High School. United Funeral Service of New Albany is in charge.
- Nicholas Raymond Lucus — 33, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010. A private service will be held at a later date. Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
- Euphus Edward “Ned” Murray Jr. — 92, died Tuesday. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home.
- Max Peacock — 63, of Water Valley died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010. A visitation time will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley is in charge of arrangements.
