Clear message: Don’t let down your guard

Our View is that you must remain diligent as parents, adults, teachers, et cetera. Who would think about their teenage daughters or friends trying to fly halfway around the world to join terrorists with IS? Still, it happened. We cannot let down our guard in teaching, warning and watching our impressionable youngsters. (October 31, 2014, Page 4A)

No charges filed in death of cyclist

No charges or citations have been brought against Grady Bailey — a University of Mississippi students who was driving the vehicle that struck and killed bicyclist and Ole Miss doctoral candidate Kevser Ermin as she was traveling on Old Sardis Road Friday. (October 11, 2011)

Bicyclist killed Friday on Old Sardis Road

Cycling community mourns the loss of Kevser Ermin, 27, who was killed Friday when a vehicle rammed into the back of her while she rode her bicycle on Old Sardis Road coming from the lake. A memorial bike ride is being planned for Sunday. (October 10, 2011, Page 1A, 10A)
