Visiting the Tupelo Automobile Museum

OXFORD TOWNIf you’re looking for a fun day trip out of Oxford, look no further than the Tupelo Automobile Museum. Located in the heart of downtown Tupelo, the museum boasts three centuries of automotive rarities from an 1886 Benz to present day Toyota. But that’s not all. The museum rotates other exhibits continually – exhibits such as one featuring Elvis Presley memorabilia and, currently, a Marty Stuart exhibit. (March 4, 2010, Page 15)

LHS drops two to open baseball season

Lafayette opened the 2010 baseball season with close losses to Mooreville and Itawamba AHS in the Tupelo Tournament. The Commodores lost 5-4 to the Troopers on Friday and lost 5-3 to the Indians on Saturday. (March 1, 2010, Page 10)

Chow Time Grill opens in Oxford

Anonymous $150,000 gift to Ole Miss helping build stronger communities

An anonymous $150,000 gift to the McLean Institute for Community Development at the University of Mississippi is helping raise the quality of life for people throughout the country.
