African art exhibited at University Museum

OXFORD TOWN – The University of Mississippi Museum continues its presentation of works from its permanent collection with a selection of African art from the Richard K. Meyer Collection. An opening reception is set for Oct. 25 during the Oxford Art Crawl and the public is invited to attend the free event. ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ set for Ford Center

OXFORD TOWN – A new and imaginative performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” plays at the University of Mississippi’s Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, Nov. 12, at 8 p.m. Page 5 in this week’s issue of Oxford Town has all the details of the Shakespearean play that’s headed to Oxford.
