Son charged in double murder

Rezoning request dies for lack of motion

The Oxford Board of Aldermen denied a request Tuesday by landowner Kenny Coleman to rezone 64 acres located between South Lamar Boulevard and Highway 7 South from single-family homes to multi-family units. No motion was made to accept the request, therefore the request died for lack of motion. (October 17, 2012, Page 1)
