  • Charlene “Kay” Trombley Bardo — 69, died Thursday, June 26, 2014, at her home in Coffeeville. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
  • Grover “Bud” Allen Huggins, 75, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Upchurch Funeral Home in Fort Ashby, with the Rev. Michael Leedom officiating. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. Monday in Davis Cemetery in Davis, W.V. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A resident of Fort Ashby, he was born in Oxford. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Carol Huggins; three children; and one brother, James M.   • Bettye H. Johnson — 77, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the Medical Center of Arlington, Texas. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. Burial will follow in Union Church of the Nazarene in Oxford. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 this evening at the funeral home.
  • Olivia Kinds — 77, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Arrangements are incomplete with Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home of Pontotoc.
  • Peggy Jean Mulvaney King — 83, died Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Oxford Health and Rehab. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. Burial will follow in Pine Flat Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be held for an hour and a half prior to the service at the funeral home.
  • Dr. Silas Wesley Pearson Jr. — 89, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be held at 3 this afternoon at First Baptist Church in Louisville. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service at the church. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
