Taylor Market wraps for 2010 season

OXFORD TOWN – It’s a wrap. Lafayette County’s favorite Saturday morning gathering, the Taylor Farmers’ Market in the Plein Air neighborhood, completes it third season this Saturday with its annual Harvest Festival featuring great tailgating supplies, fresh fall produce, locally made Christmas gifts and one of Oxford’s favorite musicians, Kevin Larkin, as musical entertainment. Lindsay Fine returns to the Taylor market

OXFORD TOWN – Lindsay Fine, one of Oxford’s favorite musicians, returns to the Taylor Farmers’ Market this Saturday morning as Fall sets in. With only two weeks left, the market is still featuring great Fall produce and great music with artists like Fine gracing the green lawn in the Plein Air neighborhood. Taylor Farmers’ Market

The Taylor Farmers’ Market features fresh local produce, baked goods and art this and every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Plein Air Neighborhood. This week’s live music is by Adrian Baron Robbins and Kevin Larkin. There are dining, shops and green space to play, walk or picnic. (August 20, 2010)

Taylor Farmers’ Market

The Taylor Farmers’ Market features fresh local produce, art and live music from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on the green in the Plein Air Neighborhood in Taylor. This week’s music will be provided by Adrian Baron Robbins and Alex Mauney. Produce specials include peaches, tomatoes, melons, herbs and flowers, along with peppers, cucumbers and other summer treats. Taylor Farmers’ Market

The Taylor Farmers’ Market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Plein Air Neighborhood in Taylor, eight miles south of Oxford. This week the market features local peaches, nectarines, apples, blueberries, tomatoes and other produce, as well as baked goods, preserves and pickles and more. Farmers’ Markets busy this weekend

OXFORD TOWN – The Taylor Farmers’ Market and Mid-Town Farmers’ Markets are busy this weekend featuring tons of produce, great folk music and a Pie Baking Contest where winners can walk away with a nice chunk of change. Donovan and Conar McCain are set to entertain in the Plein Air neighborhood this Saturday and the Mid-Town Market digs in for it’s annual Pie Baking contest. Taylorpalooza 2010

The Yoknapatawpha Arts Council hosts its annual membership picnic Saturday, May 8, from 5-8 p.m. at Plein Air Green in Taylor. Featuring music by The Cakewalkers and Jake Fussell and Jamison Hollister, with food and fun for the whole family. The event is free to YAC members and non-members are invited to join the arts council. (April 30, 2010)
