YAC’s Taylorpalooza re-loads this Saturday

OXFORD TOWN – YAC’s annual family picnic and membership drive, Taylorpalooza, cranks up this Saturday in the Plein Air Neighborhood in Taylor. Musical entertainment will include Love Cannon and The Okratones. The fun begins at 5 p.m. and will last until 8. Taylor hosts first Renaissance Faire this Saturday

OXFORD TOWN – L-O-U residents are invited to dress in Renaissance-era costumes and head to the Plein Air neighborhood in Taylor this Saturday (Nov. 19) to sing, dance, shop and “fight” at the first Taylor Renaissance Faire presented by the Taylor Farmers’ Market. Entertainment throughout the event will be provided by Greg Johnson (pictured here), Donovan McCain, Adrian Barron-Robbins and The Cakewalkers. The 2nd Annual Oxford Endurance Weekend cranks up Friday, Aug. 5

OXFORD TOWN – The cover of this week’s Oxford Town features SmartSync Oxford Endurance Weekend, a jam packed weekend of endurance races, which begins at the University Museum with the Rowan Oak 5K on Friday and ends Sunday on the Oxford Square with the Oxford Square Criterium. Page 6 in this issue has a schedule, photos and other details about the upcoming full weekend of endurance races as athletes around the country invade Oxford with their bikes and triathlon gear.
