Oxford, England and Oxford, Mississippi have similarities, but also very different

Oxford Eagle photographer Bruce Newman traveled to England recently and one of his stops took him to Oxford, England where he took in the sites and sounds, finding a red telephone booth and Double Decker buses. However, that is where most of the similarities to Oxford, Mississippi, ended. Founded in the 8th century, Oxford, England, has a population of more than 160,000 and is home to Oxford University, the oldest English-speaking university in the world.
