City may annex more land

The city of Oxford is looking into annexing about 150 acres east of County Road 300, south of where Baptist will be putting its new hospital, to help provide another through-way from South Lamar to Old Taylor Road. Residents get look at major road projects

Major road projects reviewed

The Mississippi Department of Transportation will hold two meetings next week, on Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Oxford Conference Center, to meet with Oxonians and Lafayette County residents about two upcoming road projects.
