City looks to give parking violators the boot
As the Oxford Board of Aldermen consider implementing a tougher parking enforcement program and hiring a parking management company, habitual overtime parking offenders could notice something is missing during their next trip to the Square — their car. Mayor Pat Patterson announced Thursday he has given authority to the Oxford Police Department to begin towing cars which have the highest amount of unpaid parking tickets from the Square.
