State lawmakers face challenge

OPINION – Our local contingent of state lawmakers listened to constituents all the way up to leaving for Jackson today to get set for Tuesday’s official opening of the 2010 Regular Session of the Mississippi Legislature. They’ll take what they’ve read and heard over the holidays and add in a few more things gathered at this morning’s “Eggs and Issues” breakfast hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Foundation and, hopefully, be ready to go when they join their fellow representatives and senators in Jackson. (January 4, 2010, Page 4A)
