Blistering heat settles in

Temperatures are expected to hit 101 today and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service, with heat index readings reaching 116. However, showers are expected Wednesday evening that could bring temperatures back down to the mid-90s over the weekend. (July 12, 2011, Page 1)
