LCSD Bullying Information Session
Lafayette County School District will host an information session on “What Parents Need to Know About Cyberspace (Facebook, MySpace, e-mails), Cell phones & Texting, and Bullying or Harassing Behavior,” presented by Jim Keith of Adams and Reese LLP from Jackson. The meeting will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Lafayette Middle School Auditorium. (July 28, 2010)
Boating Safety Class
A free boating safety class will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Lafayette Middle School auditorium. This class is required for anyone born since June 30, 1980, prior to operating a boat. To register, call (662) 563-6330. (May 13, 2010)
