Woodson-Ridge MHV Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Lafayette County Fire Department on Industrial Road. Members will be attending the Lady Landowners Seminar and luncheon. Lady Landowner Seminar

The Lafayette County Extension Service and the National Resource Conservation Service will conduct a Lady Landowner Seminar on Thursday at the Lafayette County Fire Department on Industrial Road, also known as 50 CR 1032.

Registration will be at 10:30 a.m. with program starting at 11. The subject will be “Butterfly Gardening.” Lunch will be provided. RSVP by calling 234-4451 by June 8 to ensure sufficient meal preparations may be made. The Lafayette County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Mississippi State University Extension Service will sponsor the program. (June 7, 2010)
