Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 this evening at United Funeral Service in New Albany and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
  •  Dennis James “Cookie” Hilliard — 52, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at his residence in Oxford. Memorial services will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Jordan Chapel C.M.E. Church Fellowship Hall. Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
