Sometimes rules are meant to be broken, and Constance McMillen and the American Civil Liberties Union are teaching us all just that.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Mississippi filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Oxford on behalf of 18-year-old McMillen after the Itawamba County School District said it wouldn’t host her April 2 prom in response to her request to be allowed to bring a female as her date and to wear a tuxedo.
