  • Harper Anderson “Andy” Peacock — 93, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Arrangements are incomplete at Waller Funeral Home in Oxford.

  • Robert Harl Alexander — 85, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, in Jackson. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Graveside Services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis. Visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
  • Carolyn Bauder — died Saturday at her residence in Ashland. Arrangements are incomplete with Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford.
  • Lester Miller “Jack” Green Jr. — 84, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. Services were held earlier today at the Coffeeville United Methodist Church in Coffeeville. Burial will follow in the Lambert City Cemetery in Lambert. Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley was in charge of arrangements.
  • James Robert “Jack” Jackson — 73, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Baptist East in Memphis. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cambridge Cemetery on Bay Springs Road in Oxford. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
  • Ann Prather Jennings — 79, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, in her home at the Sunny View Retirement Community in Cupertino, Calif. Services will be held at 1 p.m. March 20 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Elizabethton, Tenn. Burial will follow at the Happy Valley Memorial Park.
  • Anna E. Lambert — 98, died Saturday, at Emeritus in Oxford. Arrangements are incomplete with Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford.
  • James Lee “Jean” Martin — 71, died Thursday, March 13, 2014. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church in Racine. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home of Racine is in charge of arrangements.
  • Amy Dawn Hodge Wilbourn — died Sunday in Fayetteville, Ark. Arrangements are incomplete with Waller Funeral Home in Oxford.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford, with the Rev. Jerry East officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasants Cemetery in Rossville, Tenn.
  • Mary “Sis” Payne Byars — 87, died Sunday, Feb.. 19, 2012, at her home in Batesville. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Batesville, with Dr. Tommy Snyder and the Rev. Pat Ludlam officiating. Burial will follow in Marks Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville is in charge of arrangements.
  • Janette “Jan” Deaton — 77, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–North Mississippi in Oxford. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 this evening at Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. A memorial service will be held at Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The visitation at the funeral home will be held for two hours prior to Tuesday’s service.
  • Zakaylin Martezz Jones — infant son of Miesha Jones and the late Martezz Evans, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. Graveside services were held Sunday at Philadelphia M.B. Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Alfred Hall officiating. Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home of Oxford was in charge of arrangements.
  • Flora McCallum — 86, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2012, at her daughter’s home in Oxford. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Presbyterian Church of Oxford, with the Rev. Curt Presley officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Waller Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
  •  Joe Lee Rockette — 55, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012. Services were held earlier today at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home in Racine, with Bishop Rory Marshall officiating. Burial followed in West Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
  • Jeanette Barbour Mobley — 86, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at her residence. A private memorial service was held Thursday at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors.
