Ladies’ Spring Brunch

Chirst Presbyterian Church is hosting a Ladies’ Spring Brunch on Wednesday, April 21, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Bette Morgan will be the guest speaker. Her topic will be titled, “Reflecting and Renewing.” All local ladies are invited. (April 6, 2010)

New outreach offers meals, counseling

Members of Rivers Hill Church of Christ prepared and served meals Wednesday for the homeless and needy in Oxford.

Of the estimated 200 homeless and/or needy individuals in town, 65 came to get a hot meal at this first-time outreach mission of the church. (April 1, 2010, Page 1)

Warm Meal

Christ Presbyterian Church at 1720 University Ave. will provide a warm meal at 5 p.m. April 6. The meal will be provided the first Tuesday of the month starting in April. Homework help will also be available for children. For more information, call 801-4712. (March 9, 2010)
