Bickerstaff Drive

Bickerstaff/Frontage planned to open for foot traffic

City officials are planning on putting gravel down on Frontage Road/Bickerstaff Drive where a sewer pipe burst last week creating a 40-foot hole in the road that’s been closed since. The gravel is expected to be put down on Friday so pedestrians living in nearby complexes can at least walk along the road. (September 12, 2012, Page 14)

Sewer pipe closes Bickerstaff

Heavy rains blamed for pipe failure on Bickerstaff Drive. City officials say the road will be closed between Oxford Station and Cambridge Station apartments for about a week until the pipe and road are repaired. (September 5, 2012, Page 1)
