Multiple Sclerosis Self-Help Group
The local Multiple Sclerosis Self-Help Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Magnolia Room of Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Autism Expo
Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi is offering a free Autism Expo from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Baptist Outpatient Rehabilitation clinic.
The expo will feature two therapy demonstrations including sensory integration and assistive communication devices. The program will also offer an opportunity to speak with local pediatric clinics regarding growth and developmental milestones, one-on-one time with Dr. Emily Johnson to discuss the testing process and behavior management techniques for autism, and activities for the kids.

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Family Support Group provides support and encouragement to people who have someone with a mental illness in their family. The group meets in the administration building of the North Mississippi Regional Center from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays.
NAMI Connection is a weekly recovery support group for people living with mental illness. People learn from each others’ experiences, share coping strategies, and offer encouragement and understanding.
