TEA Party rally

A TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party rally will be held in Oxford Saturday at Avent Park. Families are welcomed, and balloons and flags will be available for the children. Bring your own lawnchairs. Musical entertainment will begin at 10 a.m. The formal presentation will begin at 10:30. Among the speakers will be Russell Latino, an Ole Miss Law graduate, often heard as a guest host for “On Deadline with Sid Salter” and “The Gallo Show” on Super Talk Mississippi radio, Bryan Fischer, host of the daily two hour “Focal Point” program on American Family Radio, and Scott Kendricks, a veteran. Locals launch TEA party in Oxford

The Taxed Enough Already — or TEA — party now has a home in Oxford after Senior Status Judge Kay Cobb founded a local chapter. The group, not affiliated with the national or state party, will have its first meeting on April 17 at Avent Park. (March 29, 2010, Page 1A)
