For any Southeastern Conference opponent looking for a scouting report on Ole Miss from SMU coach Matt Doherty, they might not want to ask after what he saw Wednesday night.

Rebels look to corral Mustangs

The Ole Miss men’s hoops team will face its final non-conference opponent tonight in SMU before the start of its Southeastern Conference schedule on Saturday. The Rebels (11-3 overall) travel to Dallas to take on the Mustangs (9-4) and face yet another different style of offense and a team that Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy is hoping will be beneficial for his team moving forward. Tipoff for tonight’s game at Moody Coliseum is set for 7 and the game can be heard locally on 93.7 FM. (January 5, 2011, Page 6)

Rebels learn, gain win at same time

A 68-59 win over Southeastern Louisiana wasn’t the only thing that the Ole Miss Rebels gained at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum Sunday night. Rebels back at home against Alcorn State

A chance to fine tune some things gained in Cancun, Mexico and earn another win is what the Ole Miss Rebels hope to accomplish tonight against Alcorn State. Tipoff with the Braves at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum is set for 7. Warren leads Rebels past USM

Chris Warren showed on Saturday night exactly what it means to display senior leadership.

After a slow start, Warren caught fire from the floor in the second half to help lift the Ole Miss Rebels to a 86-81 victory over the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

Warren had just five points in the first half, but in the second half the senior guard got into a zone to finish with a game-high 20 points. (December 6, 2010, Page 3B)
