Chargers wrap up Division 2-5A title

Oxford’s trip to New Hope Monday produced two wins over the Trojans in tennis action. The two 7-0 wins not only improved the Chargers to 13-1 overall, but the victories also wrapped up another regular season division title for the Chargers, who finished 6-0 against West Point, Saltillo and New Hope combined. Oxford Chargers begin quest to win fifth straight state title

Oxford’s goal to garner a fifth straight state championship in tennis begins today with a home match against Grenada. OHS coach Louis Nash will try to win the 5A title without the services of four seniors who lead the Chargers to a 116-1 record over the last six years, including four state titles and 11 individual championships. SENATOBIA — A clean sweep. That’s what the Oxford seventh- and eighth-grade football teams earned Thursday with wins over Senatobia.
