OHS boys fourth in state swim meet

TUPELO — The Oxford High boys finished fourth while the OHS girls came in ninth in team competition in the MHSAA Class 2 (5A-6A) state swimming meet held Saturday. (November 2, 2014, Page 4B)

OHS swimmers set to give best shot at state

If anybody other than Tupelo wins this weekend’s MHSAA Class II state swim meet, something went wrong. Or maybe, just maybe, another team did enough right. That’s what Oxford’s hoping anyway. OHS swimmers take 2nd, 6th in North Half

Led by two first-place finishes in relay events and a first-place finish from Dion Kevin, the Oxford Chargers finished second in the MHSAA Division 2 North Half meet Saturday in Jackson. Sheriff’s deputy lives his dream each day


The Lafayette County Law Enforcement Officers Association held its annual banquet Thursday night at the National Guard Armory where they celebrated and honored the Office of the Year awarded to Deputy Dave Cullison, Support Personnel of the Year Robert Sockwell and gave a special Medal of Valor award to five University Police officers, Lt. Anthony Hernandez, Gage Vance, Will Anderson, Jay Plunk and Matt Defore. (January 18, 2013, Page 1A)
