Lions Band wins title

Five student musicians from the Lafayette County and Oxford high schools were instrumental in the Mississippi All-State Lions Band winning its 27th title of the Marching International Championship in Sydney, Australia. (July 22, 2010, Page 1A)

Grads say goodbye

The graduates of Lafayette and Oxford high schools celebrated over the weekend as their journey through grade school came to a close.
Both graduation ceremonies were held at  C.M. “Tad” Coliseum on the University of Mississippi campus; Lafayette ’s was held Friday night and Oxford’s was on Saturday afternoon. (May 24, 2010, Page 1A)
