Shoppers flock to Square on Black Friday

More than 80 students comprise the cast, crew of Seussical

About 80 Oxford Middle School students helped to pull of the colorful adaptation of the Broadway hit, “Seussical,” a one-act, 90-minute show. The cast performed the show for area elementary school students Thursday and will be performing 6:30 tonight in the Kayla Mize auditorium at Oxford High School. OMS teams fall to Senatobia

Both Oxford’s middle school football teams ended their respective seasons with losses to Senatobia Tuesday night. The seventh-grade Chargers lost 16-14, while the eighth-graders fell 14-8 in the nightcap.

Oxford’s seventh-grade defeated Senatobia 26-6 in the first meeting between the two schools, but was unable to pull out the win on the road after a game-tying two-point play fell incomplete. (October 20, 2010, Page 8)

OMS Chargers sweep Senatobia

Oxford’s middle school teams performed well in all three phases to earn two wins over Senatobia on Tuesday night at Bobby Holcomb Field.
